Charming Chinoiserie

Naomi loves to draw inspiration from historic patterns and interiors in her needlepoint designs and had so much fun creating the Branch Series, in part inspired by Chinoiserie designs.

Chinoiserie denotes a decorative style which gained much popularity during the 17th and 18th centuries; we love the luxurious nature of such exuberant decoration and asymmetrical pattern, as well as a focus on bringing nature indoors.
